Personal data we collect
Information you give us
If you contact us by email or through this site, we collect your name, email address, any telephone number you provide, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit this site, including IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. These are used to keep the site available and secure.
We do not use this website to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal data.
Why we process personal data
- To respond to enquiries and correspond with you
- To operate, secure and maintain this website
- To meet obligations under company, tax, telecom and employment law
- To establish, exercise or defend legal claims
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, or for the legitimate uses permitted under the Act — including where you have voluntarily provided data for a specified purpose, and where processing is required to comply with a legal obligation in India.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only where necessary, and only with parties bound to process it on our instructions:
- Infrastructure and hosting providers who operate our systems
- Communication providers who deliver messages on our behalf
- Professional advisers — company secretary, chartered accountant, legal counsel
- Regulators, courts and authorities where disclosure is required by law
Some of these providers operate infrastructure outside India. Where that is the case, transfers are made in accordance with the Act and any restrictions notified by the Central Government.
How long we keep it
We retain personal data for as long as the purpose for which it was collected remains served, and for any further period required by law. When neither applies, we erase it. Records that company, tax or telecom law requires us to preserve are kept for the period those laws prescribe.
Keeping it secure
We apply reasonable security safeguards to prevent personal data breaches, including access controls, encryption in transit, row-level access restrictions on our databases, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is entirely secure, but we take these obligations seriously and will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India of a breach where the Act requires it.
Children
Our services are not offered to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and we do not register workers below the legal minimum working age.
If you believe a child's personal data has reached us, contact our Grievance Officer and we will delete it.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it
- Correct, complete, update or erase your personal data
- Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
- Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity
- Seek grievance redressal from us before approaching the Data Protection Board
To exercise any of these, write to our Grievance Officer below. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
