Mondovia
About the company

We are building the honest version of an old industry.

Mondovia Private Limited is a technology infrastructure company registered in Gurugram, India. We build the rails that carry people to work — and we let others run the routes.

Mission & vision
Vision
To create a world where every worker can access trusted opportunities, fair treatment and financial mobility—regardless of where they are born or where they choose to work.

Today, almost none of that travels. A woman with eleven years of experience arrives at a new employer as a stranger, every time. Her references are phone numbers. Her wages are cash, which means that after eleven years of work there is nothing a bank will look at. Where she was born still decides most of what she is allowed to become.

Mission
To build the trusted technology infrastructure that enables workers and employers to discover each other, establish verified identities, manage employment relationships and access compliant payments and financial services—starting with domestic staffing in India and expanding to human-capital mobility globally.

Informal labour markets do not persist because anyone prefers them. They persist because they are the path of least resistance — faster than the licensed agency, cheaper than the compliant contract, easier than the bank. Every attempt to fix this by moralising has failed. The only thing that has ever worked is making the legitimate route the convenient one. That is an engineering problem, and it is ours.

How we operate

Six principles we don't trade away.

Structure

One company holding the rails. Local brands meeting the people.

Mondovia is deliberately a neutral name in a neutral jurisdiction, because rails eventually cross borders and a rail named for one country is hard to run in another.

The brands that sit on top are local by design. In India that brand is Saathi. Others will follow the corridors.

Mondo + via. World and way — the world's way through.

The name is a compound, not a word, which is the point: it belongs to no language and reads in most of them. It was chosen so that a company incorporated in Haryana could one day sign an agreement in Doha or Singapore without its name doing any explaining.

Position

What we are not.

Not a placement agency

We do not take a cut for an introduction and then disappear. The rails stay underneath the relationship for as long as it lasts.

Not a gig platform

We do not direct anyone's work, set their hours, or stand between a worker and the person who hired them. Placements are jobs, with contracts.

Not the employer

Employment sits where it belongs — with the household or the company. We provide the verification, the paperwork and the payment rails around it.
